The trip is over and all the preparations were well worth it!!  I had an amazing time.  I had the opportunity to speak with each child and they all told me they loved the trip.  Some of them didn't like the mosquitoes, but who does!!  I want to thank all of the parents for allowing their child to attend this unique opportunity.  Traveling brings a whole new dimension to learning.  We tried new things, ate different foods, learned new information, and met new people.  Some kids made friends with kids from Arizona and even with George who is originally from Cuba.  I hope this trip opened some doors for their future and motivated students to stay in school and get great jobs so they can continue to travel throughout their lives.  I will be making CD's for the kids (thank you Mrs. Day!)  I will let them know when I have them finished.  Also, as of today we have OVER 4,500 views on our blog site.  This is so awesome!!  Thanks again and please promote the trip to the future 8th graders.
